Types of Systems Data We Collect

MyDBA collects Systems Data when our Products are deployed to monitor SQL Server systems in your environment. “Systems Data” means data about the performance of your SQL Server systems, system data (such as host, SQL Instance and database configuration and schema) about the environment in which your system is operating, data about transactions in your system (“Transaction Data”), traces and performance data (Windows and SQL Server Perfmon counters), SQL Server DMVs, and other similar data related to the performance and configuration of your SQL Server systems.

Use of Your Systems Data

Systems Data we collect is primarily used to display performance information back to the account user. It is also used by MyDBA personnel to answer questions that customers may have about their account, provide support or recommendations, and to develop and improve our products. MyDBA may also aggregate Systems Data across multiple accounts and use this data to create and publish industry benchmarks or comparative system performance metrics.

Individual Transaction Data collected by MyDBA is obfuscated by the SQLBenchmarkPro agent in your environment to remove all business and personal information from traced query data before posting to our cloud storage and analytic service.

Disclosure of Your Systems Data

We may share your Systems Data with third parties to provide technical support or to provide specific services such as application performance optimisations or recommendations. In these instances, any data we share, or recommendations we make, will always be with your express consent prior to sharing with a third party.

We may enter into agreements with Partner Companies such as hosting companies or other services providers. A Partner Company may want access to Systems Data that we collect from its customers. As a result, we may provide your Systems Data to a Partner Company on a confidential basis in order assist the Partner Company in providing customer support. Because we do not control the privacy practices of our Partner Companies, you should read and understand their privacy policies.

MyDBA may disclose Systems Data if it believes in good faith that such disclosure is necessary to (a) comply with relevant laws or to respond to subpoenas or warrants served on MyDBA; or (b) protect or defend the rights or property of MyDBA or users of the Products or related services.
